    Arrival in San José

    Private transfer from SJO airport to a boutique cloud-forest hotel in the hills. Welcome dinner with views of the central valley.

    Drive to Arenal

    Private driver to La Fortuna via the central highlands. Check in to a tented villa with a private hot spring. Evening dip under the volcano.

    Hanging bridges & waterfall

    Dawn walk on the Mistico hanging bridges above the canopy. Afternoon hike to the La Fortuna waterfall. Evening at Tabacón thermal river.

    Río Celeste & chocolate

    Day trip to Río Celeste, turquoise river, jungle waterfall. Afternoon bean-to-bar chocolate tour at a family farm. Quiet dinner at the lodge.

    Pacuare raft-in

    Drive east, raft Class III rapids through the Pacuare canyon to a riverside eco-lodge unreachable by road. Cocktails on the deck, dinner above the river.

    Cross the country to the Pacific

    Raft out at dawn, private driver across the country to the Nicoya Peninsula. Check in to a beachfront villa in Santa Teresa or Nosara.

    Surf, yoga, slow

    Sunrise yoga on the sand. Beach day with palapas reserved. Surf lesson or long swim. Sunset dinner barefoot at a chef's beach restaurant.

    Catamaran day

    Private catamaran along the Nicoya coast. Snorkel stops, fresh ceviche on board, sunset sail with rum cocktails. Final evening on the beach.
