The Yucatán in two acts. Four nights in Tulum, jungle suite on the beach road, the Mayan ruins at first light, cenote swims at dawn, dinner at Hartwood, then a transfer up to Holbox for three nights of car-free island life, flamingos, sandbars and (in season) bioluminescence at midnight.

    Arrival in Tulum

    Private transfer from CUN (about 90 min) to a jungle-beach suite on the Tulum hotel zone. Sundowners at the beach bar, dinner at a chef-led restaurant in the jungle.

    Ruins at first light

    Early entry to the Tulum Mayan ruins on the cliffs, almost empty, with the sun rising over the Caribbean. Long beach breakfast. Afternoon at the resort pool.

    Cenote morning

    Private cenote tour to two of the area's best, Gran Cenote and Calavera or Cenote Azul. Swim through limestone caves with sunlight piercing the water. Afternoon hammock time.

    Sian Ka'an day

    Full day in the Sian Ka'an UNESCO biosphere, Muyil ruins, then a guided float through the mangrove canals built by the Maya. Late lunch on a deserted Caribbean beach.

    Drive to Holbox

    Private driver across the peninsula. Ferry across to Holbox, no cars, just golf carts. Beachfront cabaña, dinner at a sand-floor restaurant.

    Sandbars & flamingos

    Private boat to Punta Mosquito sandbar and the Yalahau cenote. Lunch on the boat. Evening cocktails at Punta Cocos for sunset. If in season, bioluminescence wade at midnight.

    Slow departure

    Final swim. Ferry back to the mainland. Private transfer to CUN for your flight home.
